Logistics Facilities

Co-creation hubs for value-added creation beyond just providing space
A partner in logistics transformation, co-creating beyond problem-solving

Through high-function logistics facilities (Landport) and the inter-company co-creation program aimed at optimizing logistics operations (Techrum), we contribute to solving corporate challenges while creating facilities that care for warehouse workers and the environment.

A "land port" where people and goods constantly flow
Landport is a logistics facility designed as a co-creation hub that creates new choices for customers. With development achievements centered on major areas nationwide, we focus on information gathering and market research to manifest tenant needs and lease properties based on clear concepts.
We provide sustainable facilities that not only enhance logistics efficiency—such as achieving high storage efficiency and initiatives that contribute to securing personnel—but also prioritize the well-being of those working inside while excelling in environmental measures and BCP preparedness. Furthermore, by collaborating with companies possessing logistics-related technologies such as robotics, ICT, and transport equipment, and through initiatives like our inter-company co-creation program “Techrum,” which we spearhead, we develop comprehensive solutions to address the unique challenges of various shippers and logistics companies.

Techrum: An open innovation program for solving logistics challenges
Techrum is an inter-company co-creation program where Nomura Real Estate Development plays the core role, with participating companies possessing logistics-related technologies such as robotics, ICT, and conveyance equipment. Aimed at solving various shipper- and logistics company-specific challenges, we promote not just individual introduction of each company’s technologies and services but also collaboration and combination among participating companies, developing and providing detailed comprehensive solutions. At Narashino Techrum Hub, a verification base for Techrum's impact, we exhibit over 70 types of equipment from over 30 companies based on projected inbound/outbound work scenes by industry and item type. We also work on various solution development and effect verification activities, aiming to take quick action on the issues that shipper and logistics companies face and addressing labor shortages.
